Our collective experiences of the last 18 months are clearly reflective of an environment in which the frequency and sophistication of malicious cyber-attacks against organisations in Australia and around the world have continued to increase. We have all seen, if not personally experienced, the massive impacts on services arising from the recent high profile cybersecurity breaches suffered by Medibank, Latitude Financial Services, Optus and Australian National University, among others.
