Mayor Andrew Ireland of Livingstone Shire Council proudly accepted the 2023 LGMS Risk Excellence Award for the South West Queensland district at the Local Government Association of Queensland 2023 Annual Conference in Gladstone last month.
Congratulations to the council, and the whole team, for their award-winning business continuity planning management framework for cybersecurity. This framework was developed to ensure that Council is appropriately prepared to mitigate against, and respond to, business interruptions which threaten its critical business objectives, functions and services to the community.
